Sinclair Animal Feed Warehouse

The contract for Belfast Harbour Commissioners was the warehouse construction for storage of animal feeds. The single storey multi bay portal frame provided an internal floor area of 16,250m2. Key aspects of the contract included the provision of over 1800 nr precast piles at depths of over 23m, 5.5m high boundary and internal walls to facilitate segregated feed storage, steel fibre concrete floor, weighbridge, office and external site finishes. Significant Mechanical and Electrical Installations. The scheme was completed on time and within budget.
Wilson Salt Warehouse

The contract for Belfast Harbour Commissioners was the refurbishment of an existing warehouse. The work included the safe removal and disposal of the existing asbestos roof, the replacement roof and side cladding, structural steel inspection and treatment for suitability within a C5M environment, concrete works to facilitate plant installation, replacement drainage, electrical installation and site finishes. The scheme was completed on time and within budget. Key challenge was the coordination of the significant trades within 12 week contract duration.
Ebrington UCP

Construction of an underground carpark to serve the Ebrington area regeneration. Works included the excavation of over 40,000m3, placement of over 7500m3 concrete, extensive site finishes including stone cladding to match the adjacent and historic Star Fort Wall. Key aspects of the contract included working in the vicinity of historic buildings, the requirement of Scheduled Monument consents, the concrete management plan for pours in excess of 1000m3. Significant Mechanical and Electrical Installations.
